1. General
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of CleanExit.uk ("the Service"), provided by CleanExit UK Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
By using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you don't accept the Terms, you shouldn't use the Service.
2. Purpose of the Service
CleanExit is a marketplace that enables business owners to anonymously list their businesses for sale and for buyers to find businesses to acquire. We're not a broker and don't act as an intermediary in negotiations or transactions.
3. Registration and account
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have legal authority to represent the company you list
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Keep your login credentials confidential
You're responsible for all activity that occurs via your account.
4. Listings
When you create a listing, you warrant that:
- You have the right to sell the company
- All information you provide is accurate and not misleading
- You're not violating any laws or third-party rights
We reserve the right to remove listings that breach these Terms or that we deem inappropriate.
5. Fees and payment
The Service offers a 7-day free trial period. After the trial, you'll be charged £39 per month until you cancel your subscription.
We don't take any commission on sales made through contacts established via the Service.
Payments are handled by Stripe and are subject to their terms of service.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. There's no lock-in period or notice period. When you cancel:
- Your listing is removed immediately
- You won't be charged for future periods
- Fees already paid are non-refundable
7. Anonymity and confidentiality
We never show your company name, registration number, or contact details to buyers without your explicit approval. You choose what information to share with potential buyers.
8. Limitation of liability
CleanExit only provides a platform to connect sellers and buyers. We:
- Don't guarantee you'll find a buyer
- Aren't responsible for buyers' or sellers' actions
- Aren't party to any transactions
- Give no guarantees regarding buyers' seriousness or financial capacity
You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence.
9. Intellectual property rights
All content on CleanExit.uk, including logos, text, and design, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute this content without our written permission.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email of any substantial changes. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
11. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of England and Wales.
